Ninja Number: Simpler and More Powerful

To make Ninja Number even easier to use, we’re removing some outdated features while adding new ones that will improve your ability to respond to customers quickly. Here’s what we’ve done:

Removed direct transfer

Most of our clients prefer to screen their calls and decide whether to accept them. Direct transfer just blindly forwarded the call to people’s cellphones. Also, by having screened transfers, we can better supply you with data on your calls. It’s also one less feature you need to configure.

Moved setup of multiple extensions in the dashboard

If you have multiple extensions, you must use the dashboard to manage your account. Configuring multiple extensions in the app made it too complex, and it’s much easier to handle that setup in the dashboard.

Changed call forwarding to up to 5 numbers

We’ve replaced this feature with the ability to share your Ninja Number with up to 5 different phones. That means those 5 phones can send and receive calls using your Ninja Number and respond to texts and voicemails. That’s true collaboration.

Removed setup by phone

Setting up Ninja Number’s features by phone was tricky and involved entering several different codes to access the setup menus. We’ve made setup easier through the app and dashboard.

Removed voicemails sent to email

Since you can now play and see transcripts of your voicemails straight from the app, this feature is no longer needed. Once again, it’s one less thing you have to set up!
