A little information about North Dakota
Bordering Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Montana, North Dakota is a large and sparsely populated state, but it is an agricultural powerhouse. The state is one of the nation’s greatest contributors in cereal grains, such as barley and durum wheat. Its energy sector is also very important to the state’s economy. With oil fields, such as the newly developed Bakken Oil Fields, North Dakota remains economically strong and has one of the nation’s lowest unemployment rates. Other natural resources produced in the state include shale gas, lignite coal, and wind energy. North Dakota is also home to two major U.S. Air Force bases and several colleges and universities, making it a great place to grow up, go to school, and work.
